Child Exploitation

People who have their own children or grandchildren become very sensitive to harm against children, especially when the children are too weak to know how to defend themselves against exploitation by adults. What do I mean? I mean small gypsy children who are forced to beg in London’s streets.
I saw a very shocking documentary on TV, which was produced by the BBC, showing small begging gypsy children from Romania. They have been used to begging since the time they could walk! They don’t go to school because their main occupation is in earning money for the living of their whole family. Once gypsy child is able to earn as much money as an adult Romanian working in Romania for a whole month. An average gypsy child is able to earn about 40 thousand Euros in three months! It is incredible! Those children spend all day in the streets, regardless of the weather! They don’t have a childhood at all! What’s more, in the future they get used to living in the same way as their parents.
There is a gang of rich gypsies in the UK which deals in smuggling refugees from Romania and it turns out to be profitable. The rich gypsies make a fortune doing that. They have very expensive and comfortable houses in London’s suburbs.
The conclusion of that documentary is tat begging and stealing things is a way of living for Romanian gypsies. It is very depressing when you see small children without any opportunities for a better life, and when they are taught to live at the community’s expense without any chances for a change for the better – even for an elementary education!
